I read your column regularly and so I have an idea of what to expect! Maybe I already know the answer to my question, but hearing it from you would make me feel better. So, it goes like this:

Me and my boyfriend have been living together in sin! for nearly a year. We were both virgin when we met, and now we have a pretty good sex life. He had told me that he liked to read men's magazines & to watch X-rated videos, but I didn't think too much of it.

As we got closer, I seemed to develop some insecurities and I asked him to stop reading the magazines. I don't mind the movies because I watch those with him --- but the mags make me feel left out. I also know that he masturbates when I'm not around and considering that we have sex EVERYDAY, I don't understand his need.

Anyway, my question is: how do I get comfortable with the idea that he masturbates and also how do I ask him to get rid of the mags??

Leave his girlie mags alone! You and I both know that he doesn't purchase them for the articles, he purchases them for the pictures of physically fit, nude, nasty women.

Are you physically fit? (If not, become that way) Can you get nude? (Yes to this one!) Can you be nasty for your man? (Leaf through his girlie mags when he isn't around for pointers on what he obviously wants) Although you and your man have sex everyday, you may not be having the kind of sex he longs for. Think back: has he asked you for anything out of the usual lately? Did you completely blow him off? Thus the masturbation. He's getting in his fantasy, what he doesn't get from you in reality.

If he is masturbating frequently, you truly need to find out what it is he wants sexually, that he isn't receiving from you. If you don't find out, the neighborhood ho' will be his next stop.

Be ye forewarned: What your man fantasizes about will become a reality; either with you --- or with someone else.
