I'm an attractive SWM living in a rural area and working night hours. I'm having troubles meeting new women to date. I'm shy. How do I get over this?

I'm really happy that you posed this question. Meeting women is not a mission impossible, it's natural.

When you see a woman that you think you'd like to get to know better, smile at her, and say "hi!" She will do 1 of 3 things:

Smile back, and say "hi" to you Roll her eyes & look away angrily Pretend she didn't hear you If she does #2 or #3, move on. If she smiles back at you and says "hi," introduce yourself, and ask her if the two of you can keep in contact. Things will move smoothly from that point on, if she is interested in you.

Regarding your being shy, work on your self-confidence level. Nothing conquers shyness like self-confidence!
