There's this guy that I'm sort of seeing, but we've been friends for a long time. He treats me like his girlfriend when we mess around, but when we are at school he acts like nothing happened. He's going to California as soon as he graduates (in 2 months) so he doesn't want to get too serious. He says he doesn't want to hurt me by leaving, but it hurts more when he messes with me and acts like nothing happened.

He also has a problem with opening up. A lot of bad things have happened to him so he doesn't open up to people. I want to help him and be a good friend but he wont talk. I don't know what to do. How do I get him to open up? I don't know if I should keep trying, but I know that if I don't, he won't. what should I do?

He is not thinking about a relationship with you, and has even told you that he doesn't want to hurt you.

He acts like nothing has happened, because to him, nothing has happened. Just a lil' fooling around with a fool. He doesn't have a problem opening up to people, he doesn't want to open up to you. There IS a difference, you know. Open your damn eyes.
