The Thrill of the Kill!

What exaclty is the Thrill of the Kill? It is to win the chase. To come out on top. Victory at last! Yeah, then what? As with dating, oftentimes we pursue that which doesn't come too easily.

Ever notice when you dig someone they tend to resist? Start acting all funny? That kind of action only adds fuel to the fire of those that pursue. It's like, "I've just gotta have her/him! This time, it's personal."

So you go all out, start fixing yourself up and stuff, right? Getting your stuff tight before you actually step to him/her. The only problem is, when you finally land a date with him/her, you realize that the two of you have NOTHING in common. Yeah, he/she is cute, but that's about it as far as compatability goes, damn!

The lesson here is People Love a Challange. Always have, always will. I know I love a challange, don't you? Hell, if it's too easy, who want's it? Think about it. That's not to say play games, aiight? Remain true to yourself, no matter what. Don't play hard to get, BE hard to get... and puhleeze don't allow yourself to be a doormat.

I know it is hard to keep your composure when the ONE is around, but try it, you may be surprised. He/she may realize that they are attracted to you afterall.
