I dated this guy for a month and a 1/2 and things kind of went too fast - especially for him. He got cold feet and abruptly stopped talking. We did get along real well up to that point. I know I should get on with my life but he has definitely broken my heart. Is there any point in hoping that in time he will realize that what we had was really good?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but --- er, uum --- I'm sure he realizes that what the two of you had was good. He simply doesn't want it anymore.

It's only been a month and a half. For crying out loud girl! Don't fall so damn hard next time, o.k? Learn from this experience, and try not to repeat the same mistakes again, o.k?
