I am in a very weird situation. My boyfriend of 2 years has just dumped me, and even though I was thinking about leaving him before that, now, all of a sudden, it really hurts.
I can't stop thinking about him. I want to call him, but every time I do, he gets kinda frustrated. He said at first lets just take time off, now he says that we probably won't get back together. Apparently, he loves his new single life (all he does is drink beer with his best friend).
He jumped into our relationship really fast, and now he is jumping out just as fast. We were even engaged for a while, but I told him to slow down, and I broke it off. So now, he's out having all his fun, and stressing to me how he is, and acts like he could care less about me.
He says he still wants to be friends though, but he has this front up like he's afraid to get near me. It's like he's putting on an act. But I miss him dearly, and I want him back, for reasons which I can't explain.
What do I do? How do I make this pain end...? please, I need help, and I have no one to turn to....
There is absolutely nothing you can do. If a person doesn't want you, they don't want you. Period. If he is acting like he could care less about you, it's not an act.
He gets frustrated when you call him because he doesn't want to talk to you. He was probably expecting a call from a honey he met in the bar or something --- he breaks his neck to answers the phone --- and it's you --- the female he is finished with.
Let's be friends, huh? Girl, don't settle for that. You want him, not his friendship.
Diminish the pain by realizing you love you, and if he can't provide you with the love and happiness you need, you will get it elsewhere. Stop calling his ass, and move on --- it's easier than you think.
